Summer Leather (Wear to Work + Day To Night)

This Summer has been pretty tame compared to previous summers in Sonoma.  Throughout the years we used to get crazy heat waves (100-120) for days at a time.  The hottest we've gotten this year was barely 105.  Because of this, I've been able to wear this leather top and skirt to work.  Then again, at work I'm in an air conditioned building ;)  Regardless, wearing leather in the summer is a must for me.

I received a lot of compliments on my "dress."  But it's actually a top and a skirt.  For the first look (shown in the first picture), I wore flats.  For the second, I didn't change anything about this outfit except the shoes.  I wore a pair of heels.  It's a busy girl's way of wearing two looks in one.

    That leather peplum top matched that leather skirt wonderfully...before I read the description, I was sure it was a dress but I was mistaken. I guess this makes it even more cool because you can style it in more than one way...and I can imagine that peplum top looking pretty good with jeans or pants...but I must say I'm really impressed with this all leather look. You look both powerful and feminine! pretty much perfect styling!!!!

    The outfit really suits you. Word of advice, though, have them regularly cleaned to preserve their colour and look especially if you get them stained. Also, hang leather clothing instead of folding them to prevent creases from forming.
