I recently read an article about monochrome makeup. I had no idea monochrome makeup was a trend when these photos were taken. But I'm all for it. Reading that article made me want to branch out and try different colors. I'm planning on wearing a purple eyeshadow with purple lipstick soon. I think that would be a cute look for spring.
This is another outfit I wore while in Tahoe. Again, the key was to stay as warm as possible. I wore my pink coat with lots of layers underneath. And I wore this cable knit hat and scarf that my mom made. She crocheted little flowers to go along with it (they're removable too).
I've got one more snow outfit to share with you. It's the coziest one yet ;)

ReplyDeleteIf it's faux fur, i think nothing.. it's up to her what she wears. If it is real then it makes me feel really sad and i would judge the wearer because they either don't care that (several) harmless animals suffered to death and had their skin stolen from them so that this woman could look fancy and wear a status symbol, or they purposely turned a blind eye to the reality of where their coat came from (everybody is aware nowadays that wearing fur is inhumane).

Gah. The weather in Houston went from Winter to Summer, completely bypassing Spring, and I believe that signals the end of wearing warmer clothing :) no matter. I shall live vicariously through you. That pink is divine against that snowy white backdrop.
