My search for the perfect pink pumps has finally ended.  I ordered these other Prada beauties in March.  They were the shoes of my dreams.  But when they arrived, I was disappointed to see that they were much too small...and too narrow.  I returned them and decided to buy these ever classy Manolo heels instead.   They are the perfect pink!  They look a little Barbie-ish in the photos, but I think the color has more depth in person.  They're also comfy.  I actually didn't know the heel was 5" tall!  It doesn't feel like it at all.

Speaking of Manolo, I had the pleasure of meeting him some years ago.  He had a meet and greet at Neiman Marcus in 2007 (or 08?) in San Francisco.  I'll have to find those pictures I took with him and show you guys.

The wind was blowing like crazy when these pictures were taken.  Again, I had to wait for the wind to die down before each picture was taken.  The cardigan is much prettier in person.  But it looks like a ruffled chicken because of the wind lol.  I tried!

Sometimes I get really inspired by quotes I find either online or while reading.  I think these two that I found are quite powerful...and relevant both in my life and in recent events that have occurred.  Allow me to share:

Let's Talk About Saks

I hadn't worn these pants in a while, so I thought I'd bring them back out.  I decided to wear them with a loose silk blouse.

It's been really windy lately.  All of these pictures were taken between the strong gusts of wind.  I'm really surprised that my curls stayed in place.  I don't use any products in my hair, so I rely mostly on fate.  But lately I've been using small amounts of coconut oil to style it or keep it from looking dry.

I'm keeping this kind of short.  Among other things, I was behind on my work so that left me zero time to blog.  That would also explain my brief disappearance from the blogosphere.  But I'm back now!
