Sequins And A Blue Skirt

Wearing:
Kate Moss for Topshop sequin top (old)
Nanette Lepore skirt
Vintage velvet bag
Dollhouse patent bow heels (super old)
Mac lipstick "Girl About Town"

 I think I may have to adjust this skirt.  It should probably hit me a few inches higher in the waist, so I should have gotten a smaller size. But the trouble with sizing down is that it usually comes with a higher hemline. Shorter skirts are less versatile than longer length skirts, in my opinion.  I love the length of this one, but it seems as if it would fit me better if I adjusted the waist a little. Do you agree or disagree? I guess it depends on the cut of the skirt as well.

I looked for the link to this skirt, but I couldn't find it on the website.  I don't even remember the name of it.  It sold out after it went on sale at Nanette Lepore.  Sorry!  I bought the top that went with it because it was on sale too.  Couldn't resist! :)

    Idk why but Game of Thrones was the first thing that came to mind when I saw your top. Idk if you watch that show or read the books, but it's such an awesome series! The top is so edgy but still very wearable, which I really like. :)

    That skirt is really beautiful. I think it looks fine with the waist as is, but you could always tailor it to fit. I wouldn't have gone smaller either, 'cause I think the length looks good.
