I found this gorgeous yellow illusion maxi dress at ASOS. I fell in love with the lace and and sheer polka dot fabric combination. I kept my makeup simple and neutral, and with a nice cat eye.
This dress is still available at ASOS...I only wish it came in more colors. I also kind of wish it came in a smaller size lol. For reference, this is a size 2. There was a significant amount of leftover material in the waist area. It's doable, but I would have preferred it to be more fitted at the waist. There are two layers of fabric (it looks see through but it's not. the only part that's see through/sheer is the top bodice part and the bottom). Definitely order a size smaller.
Hope this serves as an outfit inspiration for the next wedding or formal event you attend. I know this post is really short, but I'll update you guys with what's been going on in the next post :)
