This outfit has quite a bit of history behind it.  My shoes were purchased way back in 2002.  They were super cheap because I bought them on sale.  I wish I had a better picture of just the shoes.  You can't see the cute little bows on my toes (unintentional rhyme).  These beautiful lace inset pants were given to me by my friend (and family friend), Annie.  She recently moved out of state and gave me what seems like a life time supply of clothing lol.  I always admired her fashion sense and now I own a small nugget of her closet :)  So if you're reading this, Annie, thank you again!  We miss you and can't wait to see you again.

And thank you to my new followers and readers.  I wish I had a Google Friend Connect button on my blog.  It would be much easier for you to follow me that way.  I apologize that I don't have one...I don't think Google allows that feature on new blogs (you're HORRIBLE, google!)

These pictures were taken on Friday.  My boyfriend and I were dog-sitting, so we took this little guy for a walk down to the Farmer's Market after breakfast.  This outfit was perfect for the walk.  However, it was an abnormally hot day.  By the end of our walk, I was wishing for a nice cool breeze!

A fun little fact about my bag:  I've had it since I was in the second grade!  I had forgotten that I had it in storage and was recently reunited with it a few weeks ago.  I like the pop of vibrant pink with this otherwise preppy outfit.

Poppy!

You may remember this dress from my post about a year ago (if you'd been following me before).  This is the popular crochet insert dress from Topshop.  It's a very light weight cotton dress that is perfect for those hot summer days in California.  This has got to be one of my favorite items in my closet.  The skirt actually has more volume than it looks like.  The wind was blowing, so it was hard to get a good shot of it.

 Hi again, everyone! It's been a few months, but I finally have a blog again :) I've been trying to get in the hang of it for the past week or so. These pictures were taken about a week ago. Hope you like them. I'm a bit slouchy in the second picture... I'm a little self conscious about my posture in that picture, but I like everything else about that particular post, so I'm keeping it. :)

 On another note, I'm going to do another outfit post today because I've been taking pictures in preparation for this blog. So I have quite a few outfits lined up for you all :) xoxo Azu
