Here I go again with my late night posts!  It was a holiday today (MLK Day) and I had too much fun during the day.  It got in the way of my weekly Monday post.

I'm actually kind of amazed that for the second year ever, it seems like people have forgotten about Martin Luther King Jr.  It's disappointing that a bigger deal was made about Brad Pitt's stupid hair cut than one of the most important people in American History.

I actually planned on mindlessly rambling about how happy I've been with this warm weather we've been getting.  But instead I'm going to share two of my favorite quotes from MLK.

    I dont know more quotes of MLK, in Spain we study World History but only a year, then we start with the Spanish History but the second you post is.. The pure truth. But I think that you have so much reason, the things that we study at school are not enought, ask a kid for MLK and then ask for Snooki of Jersey Shore. The answers will be the result of the TV era.
    Also, I love your pants! I always wanted a shorts like this :)

    Terrific outfit. It reminds me of the cool clothes we wore in the Sixties.

    MLK was vilified in his lifetime and, sadly, he's neglected in posterity. It was a powerful orator and a true leader of the disadvantaged.
