Happy New Year to all of you!  Thank you so much for following along, commenting, and inspiring me through your posts.  And thanks to those of you that stopped by my blog to wish me a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.  I had to take some unexpected (but much needed) time off during the holidays.

On another note,  I'd like to clarify my title.  This is a new outfit, but nothing I'm wearing is new.  I've worn all of these things many times before.  This time I wore them all together.  Wearing this outfit felt "new" to me because I'd never put all of these pieces together like this before.

I usually try to buy a new dress for NYE, a new one for Christmas, and another one for Thanksgiving.  It's hard keeping up with myself and my unrealistic shopping expectations (not to mention all of those insane sales during the holidays).  This year I tried something new.  Actually, I tried something old, which was new to me.  I wore dresses I already owned instead of buying three new ones.  Surprisingly, it was refreshing!  And it really took the pressure off of trying to figure out what to wear while planning out holiday festivities.
